A beautiful English sterling silver table, cigarette, or cigar box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1960 with the makers mark being that of Harman Brothers. It has been beautifully designed with the lid being engine turned and has a vacant cartouche, the central partition can be removed to accommodate cigars. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs - seldom if ever used. It measures approx. 6 inches (15.1cms) across by 3.5 inches (8.7cms) wide by 1.25 inches (3.3cms) tall and weighs 336 grams (including the wooden liner (note these usually have a steel plate in the base which adds to to weight although many don't mention this). A very high quality super clean piece.
