A rare solid sterling silver combination letter opener / wax seal. It is hallmarked for Chester 1908 with the maker’s marks being that of Stokes & Ireland Ltd (William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland). It has a been superbly designed having a wax seal terminal. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.5cms) long by 0.75 inch (1.8cms) wide and weighs 18 grams. A rare example.
