Antique George V Sterling Silver Hip Flask - 1922

Description

An antique George V sterling silver hip flask which is rectangular shape in design with a slightly concaved body, so that it can fit comfortably in the pocket, a removable cup for drinking purposes and a hinged lid with a bayonet fitting to keep the liquid tight and secure. This plain silver hip flask would make an ideal gift for a sportsman and a perfect addition for a collection. It weighs 6.1 troy ounce (190 grams) and would hold 150 ml of spirit.

Height: 12.8 cms (5")

Width: 7.2 cms (2.8")

Thickness: 2.5 cms (1")

It was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1922 by Marples & Beasley and remains in excellent condition.
