A super quality rare English solid sterling silver potato ring dish. It is hallmarked for London 1917 with the maker’s marks being those of the Pairpoint Brothers. It has superbly designed to hold a hot pan or plate off the table surface. It has been pierced with farming images including the farmer, his wife, a dog, a fox and other animals. It is in superb condition being free from splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (11.1cms) across the base by almost 2 inches (4.8cms) tall and weighs 114 grams. A very good quality well made piece.
