Beautiful Hanau German 800 Solid Silver Pill Snuff Box C1900 Antique Musical

Description

A beautiful Hanau German solid silver pill or snuff box. It is marked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark and the makers mark of Storck & Sinsheimer who operated in Hanau from 1874 to 1930s. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made with the lid and the base being decorated with a musical instruments. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the top fits securely. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.5cms) across by 1 inch (2.6cms) tall and weighs 26 grams. A very well made piece.
