Description

A beautiful and unusual solid silver Eastern dressing table or desk box. It is marked with silver marks to the base with silver marks and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1920. It has been superbly hand made being engraved and chased with a flower design around the sides and the lid being beautifully embossed with wild goat / deer like animals being hunted. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cms) across by 1.5 inches (3.8cms) wide and weighs 202 grams. A superbly designed very high quality rare example.
