Large Regency Antique Walnut Centre Footstool

A beautiful quality, English early 19th century antique footstool of large proportions. Made in solid walnut that is a lovely, original colour and finish in a wide, x frame design which are connected by turned stretchers. The x frame design is the same to both sides and features a shield motif to the centres. A good large scale model in excellent, strong condition. The traditionally upholstered drop in seat is in the original calico, ready to upholster in a finishing fabric. Dates to around 1815.
