Description

An superb Norwegian solid sterling silver baptism spoon. It is hallmarked with the 830 silver standard mark along with the makers mark of Marius Hammer. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully designed with the terminal being decorated with a cast crown. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, tiny mark to the bowl. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (11cms) long by 2 inches (5.3cms) wide and weighs 36 grams. A beautifully made rare piece.
