A stylish solid sterling silver tea strainer and drip bowl. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1946 with the makers mark being that of Hukin & Heath Ltd. It has been superbly designed and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The strainer measures approx. 5 inches (12.5cms) across including the handle and 2.25 inches (5.6cms) across excluding it and the bowl measures 2.25 inches (5.6cms) across by 1.25 inches (3.2cms) tall and they have a combined weight 64 grams. A very well made set.
