Technical Description
A truly outstanding 19th-century Crowned Scottish Silver and Gemstone Brooch in the form of an ornate Celtic Sheild
Twenty-five carnelian and agate gemstones on the outer band with a central cross with four larger examples, all set in beautiful ornate Silver. The central cross also has a silver crown with three small yellow Citrines.
Pin to rear in full working order and can also be worn as a pendant.
One of the best crafted examples we have had.

Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration. Silver unmarked which is quite normal for Scottish Jewellery of this type.
