A Desirable Silver 'Soy' Bottle Ticket

A desirable Victorian silver 'Soy' condiment Label, dating from the middle of the Victorian era. This wonderful piece is rectangular in shape, with 'clipped' corners and the word 'Soy' is engraved to the centre. The border is reeded and the label is supported on a belcher chain. Condiments came in many forms in the Georgian and Victorian times, including items such as Soy sauce - also found as a cooking ingredient nowadays.
