Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This scent bottle comes from a private collection started in the 1990's. The hallmark is JR&S Birmingham, but year not decipherable, possibly 1888. The glass is beautifully cut as a spiral with the tip being left clear. The top unscrews to reveal the original cork stop inside the lid. The top is left clear with no engraving or monogram.
