Volner Bahner Silver & Enamel Vintage Butterfly Brooch

1940 - 1960
Description

A delightful petite, vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch.  Excellent detailed craftmanship.  The wings are beautifully enamelled and the colour is superb:  a  deep sky blue. The brooch is marked on the back 'Sterling Denmark' the the designer's mark for Volner Bahner, who graduated from the Industrial Arts & Crafts College in Denmark in 1930.  There is a good fastening clasp at the back. 

A perfect gift, made by a collectable designer and in fabulous condition.

Period:  c. 1966 -`1988

Measurements:  Width:  2.8 cm    Height:  1.8 cm      Weight:  4.2 grams
