A fine and unusual silver plate biscuit box with panels of polished granite. The biscuit box is of typical form but is of unusual shape with hexagonal profile and each side fitted with a granite panel. The whole is in very good condition, with just two panels of the granite showing cracks. The box is by the firm of Roberts and Belk and is full marked on the base. A fine and unusual example of a Victorian silver-plated biscuit box in great condition. C.1870.
