Description

Anton Michelsen Danish silver "Daisy" necklace. Sterling silver with 18ct gold plating and white enamel.

Anton Michelsen established his company in 1841 and became one of the most important jeweller families in Denmark. After a short while, the company received its first commission from the Royal Family. The company is now part of Georg Jensen.

The Daisy is the Danish national flower, and when the current Queen Margrethe was born in 1940, her mother Queen Ingrid was presented with a special version of the Daisy to commemorate the event.

The necklace is 41.5cm long. Each Daisy is 1.8cm diameter. Weight 10.5g. Perfect condition.

Matching brooch and earrings listed separately.
