Pair of bronze candlesticks after the sculptures by Giambologna of Mercury and Fortuna . Depicted raised on cherubic-faced zephyrs or winds , the bronze figures are mounted on black circular turned marble bases each with an ormolu band around the circumference decorated with classical processional figures onto plinth bases.

Both figures modelled holding aloft a polished brass candle-holder (one with missing scone) .
Some rubbing and loss the the patina of the bodies due to handling and polishing. Minor historic chips to marble bases .
