Description

This is a rare model of a silver pencil with a concealed sharpener by Sampson Mordan & Co.

This particular model is shown on page 17 figure 2673a of the Sampson Mordan 1898 catalogue (produced by the Pen & Pencil gallery).

Marked for London 1899.

Marked S Mordan & Co patent.

Also engraved with the original owners name.

The pencil is housed in one end and pulls out, while the pencil moves on the sliding mechanism,

Good overall condition minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
