A beautiful Dutch export solid sterling silver snuff or pill box. It is hallmarked with the Dutch lion and key export mark along with Hanau marks and English import marker for Sheffield 1897 with the importers mark being Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck. It has been beautifully made being of hexagon form and the lid and base being embossed with cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cms) tall by 1.5 inches (4cms) across and weighs 30 grams. A very high quality example.
