An Edwardian Adjustable Brass Desk Lamp

Description

This adjustable brass desk lamp is a good example and dates to the 1920's - it still retains all its original features, including the on/off pull cord. It's surface has been polished and then re-lacquered, so it will keep its lustrous and appealing look for many years to come. The lamp has been rewired and safety tested, and the exposed braided gold cord is in keeping with the period of manufacture. We have placed a leather covered disc to its underside to protect the surface of whatever it is placed on. A handsome lamp, of a type that is becoming harder and harder to find in an authentic condition. The measurements below reflect a normal operating position.
