A rare beautiful high quality English solid sterling silver cream jug. It is hallmarked for London 1935 with the maker's mark being that of Henry George Murphy along with the Murphy's falcon studio mark. It has been beautifully designed being planished. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cms) tall to the lip by 5 inches (12.7cms) across lip to handle by over 2.75 inches (7.3cms) across the rim by 2 inches (5.1cms) across the base and weighs an impressive 148 grams. A beautiful high quality piece.
