Fine 19th century Japanese bronze candle holder,c1890. Highly stylised in form it stands on tripod legs and every facing surface is beautifully decorated with incised ,pierced and raised decoration. Well cast and heavy for its size at 0.6kg it has taken on great colour/patina following many years of use. This is a highly decorative and functional antique that would work well in a modern or traditional setting. Condition is good with no obvious issues.
