Good quality, heavy-gauge lacquered brass hall lantern of early C19th period style .
The top with scrolled supports to a hanging-ring at the top .

The top of the glazed panels fitted with a cast-brass scrolling classical acanthus leaf at each corner. The bottom of the panels fitted with ‘acorn-style’ brass drop-finials .
The base fitted with a circular glass panel .

An accurate and well-proportioned large-scale copy of an important early C19th brass-framed hall lantern , in excellent original condition .
Wiring could be professionally checked pre-sale but would obviously require hanging and fitting by a qualified electrician
