Rare Sterling Silver Travelling Pyx Holy Communion Set Wafer Box 1955 Religious

Description

A rare English solid sterling silver travelling pyx or holy communion wafer box and chalice cup. It is hallmarked for London 1955 with the makers marks being that of Hurst, Franklin & Co Ltd. It has been beautifully made being decorated with a cross, it separates into three the bottom piece holds a small glass chalice cup. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (5cms) across the base by 4 inches (9.6cms) tall and weighs 206 grams (including the cup). A very high quality rare and unusual piece.
