A beautiful rare mint boxed English solid sterling silver and enamel compact. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1959 with the makers marks being Mappin and Webb. It has been beautifully made being decorated with a hand painted enamel rose design to its front. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the enamel is complete and free from chips, cracks, scratches, and repairs. Possibly never used. It measures over 3 inches (7.8cms) and weighs 115 grams excluding the box. A beautifully designed stunning piece.
