Description

A rare pair of George II English solid sterling silver berry serving spoons. They are hallmarked for London with the date mark being difficult to decipher, the makers mark looks to be that of Thomas Devonshire & William Watkins so dates them to c1750s. They have been well made being embossed with a berry and leaf design. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 8 inches (22cms) long by 1.75 inches (4.3cms) wide and weighs 128 grams. A super quality pair.
