Description

A unusual solid sterling silver page maker / bookmark. It is hallmarked for Sterling Silver along with the makers mark SW. I would date it to c1940 most likely made in the US. It has a superbly designed being engraved with a cross and reads 'BEAR THE CROSS TO WEAR THE CROWN' and MRA which I think is a religious group established in 1930's America. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cms) long by 1.25 inches (3cms) wide and weighs 14 grams. A very unusual example.
