Impressive Italian Murano Glass Ceiling Light Chandelier

Description

This is a most imposing early 20th century Italian Murano glass chandelier in super condition dating from around 1920. The large gilded metal bowl is beautifully embellished with Murano glass florets, and colourful roundels in pearl, amber, pale green and emerald shades with fabulous deep purple bunches of grapes around. The light has its original central hanging rod and cast gilt ceiling sconce. This has been rewired with modern braided style cable in keeping with the age of the piece. It accepts three standard small screw fitting bulbs inside the shade.

The shade measures 53 cms in diameter and the chandelier is 49 cms in height overall.
