Beautiful German Solid Silver Tea Caddy Box C1910 Antique 140g Adolf Mayer

Description

A stunning German solid silver table trinket box or tea caddy. It is hallmarked with the 800 standard mark, and the makers mark of Adolf Mayer of Frankfurt. I would date it to c1910. It has been beautifully designed having a cast flower finial to the lid. It is superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the odd small mark to the sides. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9cms) long by 3 inches (7.5cms) wide by 3 inches (7.5cms) tall to the top of the finial and it weighs 140 grams. A very well made stunning piece.
