Description

Antique 1890s silver watch chain and fob.

The chain measures 33cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is hallmarked for 1897 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham silversmith Henry Pope. Each of the graduated links have the lion silver mark. The clasp is hallmarked for 1891, with the same maker’s mark for Henry Pope.

Also included is a 1907 silver fob which was awarded ‘for bravery in extinguishing fire’.

The total weight of the chain and fob is 69g.
