A beautiful solid sterling silver jam or preserve spoon. It is hallmarked for Chester 1953 with the makers mark being that of William Henry Creswick of Devon, a member of a famous family of sculptors and silversmiths. It has been superbly designed having a hand made modernist Arts and Craft design. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14ms) long by over 1.5 inches (4cms) wide and weighs 32 grams. A beautifully made example.
