Novelty English Sterling Silver Canoe Boat Pin Cushion ? 1903 Chester

Description

A rare English solid sterling silver miniature canoe boat. It is hallmarked for Chester 1903 with the makers mark being that of Stokes & Ireland Ltd (William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland). It has superbly made being a miniature of a canoe boat, it may have originally been a pin cushion or could be converted to one. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, tiny mark on the base, see final photo. It measures approx. 5 inches (12.7cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.7cms) wide by 1.5 inches (3.8cms) tall and weighs 42 grams. A very nice quality unusual piece.
