A beautiful good sized English solid sterling silver desk or dressing table box. It is hallmarked for London 1892 with the makers mark being that of Charles Stuart Harris. It has been superbly designed being embossed with a scrolls and flower design with the cartouche being vacant. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. The inside is perfectly clean and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.5cms) across by 2.75 inches (6.7cms) wide by 1.5 inches (3.8cms) tall and weighs 82 grams. A very high quality unusual piece.
