The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It is clearly hallmarked on the base for London 1911, with the maker's mark for Thomas Callow & Son. It is also stamped on the underside of the base.

The detailing is wonderful. It has red glass eyes, one of which looks to have a slight squint, and some fearsome teeth!
