Antique Sterling Silver Athenaeum Pattern Fish Cutlery Set

1920 - 1940
Description

Twelve pairs of antique George VI sterling silver fish eaters which have been made in the Athenaeum pattern design and consist of twelve silver fish knives and twelve silver fish forks together with a pair of silver fish servers made in the same pattern. These stylish silver fish eaters would look wonderful displayed on the table and would make a useful addition to an Athenaeum pattern canteen. They have been made to an extremely high standard and come complete with some useful cloth wraps perfect for keeping them clean and tidy.

Length of knife: 20.8 cms (8.2")

Length of fork: 18.5 cms (7.3")

Length of serving knife: 28.5 cms (11.2")

Length of serving fork: 22.5 cms (8.9")

Weight: 47.6 troy ounces (1,480 grams)

It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1945 by Mappin & Webb and remains in excellent condition.

Complimentary postage is included within the price of this fish cutlery set.
