Rare Solid Sterling Silver 1797 Cartwheel Penny Coin Vesta Case 1890 Antique 50g

Description

A superb rare solid sterling silver vesta case. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1890. It has been superbly designed being made from two rare King George III Britannia Penny coins dated 1797. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, it works perfectly with a strong mechanism and is clean inside. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.6cms) across and weighs 50 grams. A very high quality example.
