A Superb Small Victorian Silver Naturalistic Chamber Stick

A superb example of very early Victorian domestic ware. This delightful piece is a small chamber stick , sometimes called a go-to-bed and is designed in the naturalistic taste. It has a leaf shaped base with beaded rim and fixed sconce to hold a small candle. The handle has a fruiting vine motif and the removable snuffer is still present. An interesting and unusual item. Condition :- Very good, with no dents, splits or breaks. There are a few bumps to the top of the handle, commensurate with age and use.
