Rare English Solid Sterling Silver Asparagus Tongs 1902 Hukin & Heath

Description

Beautiful English solid sterling silver asparagus tongs. They are hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 with the makers mark being JTH JHM for Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton). They have been superbly made for picking up individual spears. They are in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure approx. 4.5 inches (11.3cms) long by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) across the grips and weigh 26 grams. Beautifully made examples.
