A rare Georgian antique solid sterling silver serving spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1800 with the makers marks being that of Peter, Ann and William Bateman. It has been superbly made and interestingly engraved with the crest of the Dobson Family. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 8. inches (21.5ms) long by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) wide and weighs 64 grams. A very nice quality interesting example.
