A rare English Victorian sterling silver and mother of pearl folding fork. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1854 with the makers mark being GU for George Unite & Sons. It has been beautifully designed having a mother of pearl outer case with vacant cartouche, very unusually shaped. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cms) long unfolding by 3.25 inches (8.3cms) folded by 0.75 inch (1.9cms) wide and weighs 20 grams. A very high quality piece.
