A superb cased set of eight English solid sterling silver cake or pastry forks. They are all hallmarked for Sheffield 1938 with the makers mark being that of CMA. They have been superbly designed to what is termed the Hanoverian Pattern. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs - the odd faint mark. The case is also in superb condition being free from scuffs tears and repairs. They measure approx. 5 inches (12.7cms) long by over 0.5 inch (1.7cms) wide and have a combined weight 116 grams (excluding the case). A beautifully made rare set of eight.
