A stunning large top quality English solid sterling silver trophy cup. It is hallmarked for London 1899 with the maker’s marks being HF for Rowlands and Frazer of Regent Street London. It has been made for the London Athletics Club but never engraved. It in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, just the odd tiny mark. It measures approx. 8 inches (20.8cms) tall by almost 4 inches (9.7cms) across the rim and weighs 278 grams (total silver weight i.e not weighted). A beautifully made rare piece.
