A beautiful very high quality solid sterling silver trinket box. It is hallmarked with import marks for Sheffield 1896 with the importers mark being SBL for Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck. It is also marked with Hanau German marks. It has been beautifully designed being of love heart form and has a cast lid depicting a milk maid. It has been internally gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cms) wide by the same long by 0.75 inches (2.3cms) tall and weighs 48 grams. A beautifully made piece.
