A super quality rare English solid sterling silver cayenne, laudanum or snuff spoon (used for all). It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1899 with the maker's mark being that of Atkin Brothers. It has been superbly made having a cast knight terminal possibly a family crest, the Joyce and Chevalier families have similar crests. It is in super condition being free from splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.3cms) long by 1 inch (2.6cms) wide and weighs 16 grams. A very unusual piece.
