Cased Silver Gilt & Enamel Coffee Spoons by Egon Lauridsen

An absolutely stunning set of 6 silver gilt and enamel demitasse coffee spoons by one of the most prominent silversmiths renowned for his modernist Danish design, in Copenhagen: Egon Lauridsen 1936 - 1966. The spoons come in the original case. Each is decorated with the most dazzling, vibrant colours, with oblique handles and sunburst guilloche enamel bowls. Each is marked on the back with the mark for Egon Lauridsen 'Ela Denmark Sterling 925 S'.

 

A fabulous set, would make a wonderful gift.

 

Condition: Each of the spoons is in excellent condition. The case is in good condition but does have some marking to the exterior.

 

Period: 1950's
