Enchanting 21ct Gold Georgian Gem Set Pendant

18th century
Description

An enchanting Georgian pendant, with an Eastern appearance. Circular in shape, the pendant is decorated with a central smoky quartz set within a protruding, decorated gold mount. Surrounding this central stone eight small seed pearls sit within smaller gold mounts. There is a good sized loop at the top for attachment. The gold is a deep yellow hue and tests 21ct.

 

Unusual and beautiful pendant and in lovely condition. (There are some very slight darker patches to the base of the pendant that can be seen in the images - however, these are more emphasised by the photos).

 

Period: Georgian

 

Measurements: Diameter width: 1.7 cm Weight: 3.3 grams
