A Queen Anne style dressing table stool in burr walnut, the drop-in seat with gros and petit point floral needlework on a grey background, over a moulded seat edge to a burr frieze with applied shell decoration, on scrolled cabriole supports with pad feet. English circa 1890.
Condition: Excellent, the stool is in good condition and is solid and robust; there is a minor loss to one of the shells. The needlework is clean with attractive pastel colours and little wear, and overall the piece has a lovely colour and pleasing patina.
