Superb Quality Large Silver Plated Gothic Casket 'Fisher 188 Strand'

Superb Quality Large Silver Plated Gothic Casket 'FISHER 188 STRAND' this is a wonderful example, with high relief detailing to all sides and the lid. Marked to the base 'AFC' and 'M' this fine piece would have been made around the end of the 1800s into the early 1900s. Impressed Fisher 188 Strand mark to the inner leading edge. There is a latch that would secure the lid, however, no key is present. Incredibly decorative, very heavy, and in very good condition.
