Description

A wonderful example of a rare Victorian solid sterling silver Pin Cushion, this one modelled as a golden pheasant.

The maker's mark of M Friedlander and Co is clearly stamped on the base, as is the hallmark for Chester 1900. The pheasant stands proudly on an oval tufted base. He is set with red glass eyes. The cushion is blue velvet, slightly worn. The silver is in excellent condition.
