Culvertons has dated this piece to the 1920s.
His invention in 1909 became a very popular design in America and Europe. This lovely Early 20th Century example, with its green and shaped glass shade, still retains nearly all it's original brass plated finish - the small areas of it's copper base that do shine through, primarily at the points of adjustment, are a pleasing addition and a reliable indicator of its age. This bankers type lamp has been re-electrified and we have had the wiring safety checked. We have also sensitively polished it's surface by hand so as not to remove its original plating and charm - from time to time you may want to do the same.
