9ct gold expanding gents watch strap or bracelet.

~~ Totally original throughout ~~

This is a very fine example of a gents classic expanding watch strap or bracelet also known as a fixoflex or spieder bracelet.

Made by Excaliber who were renowned for making top quality bracelets.

It is fully marked with the registration number of 860662, pat number 2278/55 and Made in England.

All springs are strong and in very good condition with no damage.

It is 5.5" long expanding to 9.5", the ends are 18mm and it is suitable for both spring and solid bars.

It weighs 28g and is fully hallmarked as 9ct gold, each stainless steel spring has a 9ct gold case.

It dates to 1955.

These bracelets in 9ct gold are becoming increasingly rare especially in this condition.
